Sampling Technologies Inc has an opening for the position of Java/J2EE Developer (position filled).
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The Java/J2EE Developer position is responsible for the full development life cycle including analysis, design, coding, testing and deployment of Java/J2EE applications. Other duties will include the implementation of reporting solutions such as Crystal Vision Server to automate reporting functions from our database.
Requirements:
The successful candidate should have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience, along with at least 3 years of development experience. At least 2 years of Java/J2EE development experience is required. The successful candidate must also possess good communication skills, and be willing to work flexible and extended hours. He/she takes ownership of client issues and is only satisfied when those tasks are completed to the client’s satisfaction.
Required Skills:
- Web development experience using J2SE and J2EE technologies
- Experience with database design and SQL
- Exposure to Unix/Linux operating system
Desirable Skills:
- Oracle RDBMS experience
- Reporting tools, especially Crystal Reports
- Experience with the pharmaceutical industry
- Experience with SOA, SOAP, and Jave Web Start
