Sampling Technologies Inc. is currently looking for highly motivated, customer focused individuals to sell our SmartTechnology Products in the Toronto and Montreal areas. Just as our products can be counted on for superior performance, we seek above average business savvy to expand our existing customer base and market. The Account Manager position is responsible for all aspects of the sales process, beginning with the initial development of the client relationships, qualification of the client solution, proposal development, implementation and follow up.
Responsibilities:
• Manage an existing account base while prospecting to attract new business within the pharmaceutical or diagnostic industry
• Remain current on product information and industry trends
• Product presentations
• Some out of province travel to head office in Halifax
• Trade Show attendance
• Provide monthly sales reports
• Work closely with inter-company departments on program launches
Required Skills:
• Minimum of 3-5 years successful sales experience with proven success identifying account opportunities, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry, diagnostic industry or with an agency supporting the pharmaceutical industry.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally in a professional manner.
• Ability to establish and develop account relationships with key decision makers and influencers.
• Solid organizational and time management skills.
• Self motivated.
• Positive attitude, work ethic and a team player.
• University Degree
