Sampling Technologies was the recipient of the “Best Interactive Display” award that was presented at the 7th annual Primary Care Today conference recently held in Toronto. 

The Primary Care Today event is Canada’s largest annual family medicine conference and brings together physicians and other Health Care Professionals from across Canada. In partnership with Canada’s largest medical school, the University of Toronto’s Department of Family & Community Medicine, Primary Care Today is comprised of three days of clinical content featuring 5 keynotes and 20 sessions.  Along with the educational conference, there is a medical exposition where delegates are exposed to new and relevant product information in order to update and validate their learning. 

As an innovator and leader in the field of alternative sampling and medication reimbursement programs, the STI information booth received a large amount of interest from physicians.  An interactive survey was developed, where physicians and other Health Care Professionals were asked to rate their familiarity with SmartSample® and SmartPayment™ products. An overwhelming number of physicians, (75%), indicated that they were aware of SmartSample® and SmartPayment™ products.  Additionally, 95% of physicians expressed that they would use SmartSample® and SmartPayment™ products if given the opportunity.  These numbers indicate the high awareness rate amongst physicians, and are even more impressive considering SmartSample® and SmartPayment™ only launched nationwide in 2004.
